ZX Flux takes adidas back to the future?

The thing about the adidas ZX Flux...it almost feels like adidas hit a brick wall in their new product development department. Truth be told, they haven't produced anything worth queueing up for only to sell on eBay at three times the price in long long time. Adidas kicks just aren't a big deal anymore. 

Now the thing about adidas ZX Flux is that it is a product of a adidas' lack of innovation. Adidas have tried all sorts since the "adidas torsion" more formerly known as the adidas ZX 8000. They even tried a battery operated shoe and what a flop that was. 

Thus they have reverted back to an old classic (the ZX 8000). They have stripped away some of the staple features, and left us with a skeleton of the former. 

Some may call this genius, in fact those who do, probably see any release as genius. Personally it comes across as a lazy revival of an old classic with a "twist" to it.

However, the adidas ZX Flux fade pack actually  demonstrates that these things can still work with the right formula.
