More than a shoe

The Air Max is more than a shoe according to Nike. Cynics will sneer at such a bold statement, but to be fair, Nike are right. Like it or not, the Air Max franchise is a beast and has stood strong throughout every generation and trend since its birth back on the 80’s, yes, the 80’s! This sort of dominance is often only seen in sport where a team is king for decades, it doesn’t usually happen in the lifestyle fashion world. Similar to FC Barcelona’s motto of “més que un club”, the Air Max truly is more than a shoe. Explore the history on Nike’s website here: http://www.nike.com/us/en_us/c/sportswear/airmax

adidas Originals Select Collection Cross Knit

Polka-dot trainers can be more miss than hit. They often look as if they are trying too hard to be "on brand". This is a rare exception to the rule - these are gorgeous. Both colourways are perfect for the summer. There is something reminiscent of the Lacoste Dot Fade Pack. Find out more from Size? here

Finally...

For years I’ve wondered why Nike haven’t produced a football boot with the “sock” piece that has provided support on the Hurrache, Mowabb and recent return of the 180’s. Having owned a pair of the last two, I can confirm how great the “sock” feels and how supportive it is when doing sports.

So, after all these years, Nike have finally done it. Highsnobiety seem to have reported on this football revolution first. Alternative colourways of the Nike boot could be a winner. Watch this space.
